Dear AOL.com,
I hate you. Why do you constantly put headlines on your page that say things like "Escape to Paris..." and other travel "deals"? I think it's because you want to mock me and cause me great pain. Of course, maybe I'm just noticing it because I would give anything to run off to Paris and escape. But still, I hate you. You are the worst homepage EVER. In short- You suck.
With love,
April
So I decided today after several days of freezing inside while it's been 80s and 90s outside to venture out onto the lawn for some relaxation. Of course I chose the worst day of the week and it's cloudy, windy, humid, and in the mid-70s today. Oh well, gives all the girls leaving the dining hall something to stare at.
But anyway all week I've been talking to Ashley about her amazing trip she leaves for this Friday to Europe then Africa. I'm so jealous to begin with and was so upset I had to tell her no when she asked me to come with. Then, of all times, I open my internet browser and BOOM! Right on the homepage "Escape to Paris for Just $1,000". If only it were that simple and only if $1,000 dollars was Just an easy-breezy small chunk of change. But nooooo, $1,000 to me is a LOT (I'm living on a poverty-level living allowance here people!), and it isn't that easy.
But I miss Paris. I miss Europe. SO much. It almost hurts I miss it so bad.

Stupid Atlantic Ocean. I'm starting to hate it as much as I hate Virginia.
Oh well. I guess I'll be living vicariously through Ashley. Safe travels, buddy!
As for me, back to the freezing apartment... too cold outside and it's getting dark!
